The staff surprised me by helping my wife curl her hair before a wedding, adding a personal touch to our stay. The lovely garden view room was a highlight, but we encountered a few heating issues.

stayed for 1 night and it was a really lovley experience. the hotel was super clean n tidy. The staff were excelent! got a taxi sorted out fast for us which was great. breakfast was yummyy, especially the sausages, they were delish. even with a couple of small grumbles, i would def come back here!
only thing was the lack of twin rooms available and had a bit of trouble with the check-in process.

The hotel's public areas were stunning and the staff exceptionally friendly, but the room was disappointingly small and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was good, though a bit chaotic, and the lack of a functioning restaurant on-site was inconvenient. there were highlights, but improvements are necessary.

Charming, Charming, Charming
I adored the garden bar where I sipped cocktails surrounded by greenery—pure bliss! The breakfast was a treat with made-to-order options, and those sausages? To die for! The staff went above and beyond, even making special arrangements for our celebrations, which truly made our stay unforgettable.
100% recommend 🥰✨

I stayed in a lovely garden view room and had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant, which blew us away. The secret garden was a great spot for relaxation, and the cozy lounge added to the charm. The only tiny hiccup was that the room felt a bit snug for our liking, but overall, it was a delightful stay! 🌸

Absolutely loved the granola at breakfast! the restaurant was fab with a stunning dining area and top-notch grub. The staff felt like family, helping us create a lovely memory during our stay.
The walls were so thin—I could hear the late-night hair dryer in the next room. Plus, we had a bit of a rowdy couple at the bar who made our post-dinner drinks less relaxing than we'd hoped.

missingWrote a review on 26 Julgarden viewevent spaceshigh qualitynoise issues
The room featured a lovely garden view, making for a relaxing atmosphere. Spacious areas like the Willoughby Suite are ideal for events, including weddings, and the food at functions is notably high quality with handcrafted desserts.
Several issues cropped up during the stay. The bathroom amenities were a bit stingy, lacking sufficient products and even a shower cap, while the shower itself was tricky to temperature control, posing a real risk of scalding. Noise from the outside could be disruptive as well, especially on nights when local events or parties were happening. The configuration of some rooms limits flexibility with bed arrangements, which might not suit everyone’s needs.

This was just a fitting option for a city break with definitely value for money. The young barman did an extremely good job at the evening service, making excellent margaritas. Try to arrive during cooler days if possible.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We enjoyed a lovely stay and visited some amazing spots nearby. The Merlin is great for relaxing together, and access to Total Fitness was a nice bonus. Staff were friendly, and breakfast was decent enough despite a few hiccups.

Nice spot but could improve service
We had a cozy stay in a boutique double room. Staff was super friendly and I loved the caramels they gave us! The restaurant was nice too, I had a ribeye that was cooked perfectly. Only bummer was the bar snacks weren’t available when we arrived, which was a letdown after a long day.

We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the lovely, tidy decor throughout the hotel. The restaurant was a highlight. we had a fantastic Sunday roast that the kids loved. Plus, the easy access to the train made exploring nearby areas a breeze.
My children wished there was better soundproofing between rooms.
